I cherish our date-nights. 🤍 Someone saw us taking selfies so they asked if they could take our picture.

For many years our date-nights were rare & mostly looked like us hanging out intentionally when the kids went to bed, but we prayed hard for the perfect baby-sitter and we truly have found one that God has blessed us with & led us to! (We never trusted anyone else with our kids beforehand for obvious reasons!)

We have learned over the years though that alone time is NEEDED.

We go on bi-weekly date nights or at least once a month. It is NOT selfish and your children need to witness their parents in love. They need examples of what it looks like to invest in your marriage!

I’ve always heard older couples say, “NEVER stop dating.”, & it’s so true! ❤️

Going out on physical dates may not be feasible right now for every couple with small children; especially if you have no help locally like us, but here are some things you can do to still create deep connection + intimacy while being married & raising babies:

Praying together, reading the Bible together, talking about the word and what God is doing in you or speaking to you about lately, watching sermons + podcasts together & discussing them, reading books together, intentionally cuddling on the couch while watching something together, ongoing connection and deep + vulnerable conversations, holding hands in the car, kissing, serving one another, putting AWAY your phones when together, and well, you know the last one.

I will never get over having this sweet baby girl as my Daughter. I am so grateful that God saw it fit to give me a little twin. 😭

We were matching in our Jean Jackets this evening while Daddy played baseball with the boys. My husband couldn’t get over how she looked like a little mini-me walking around so I had to get a picture to capture the memory/moment.

He knew how much my heart needed her. ❤️

Life lately. ❤️ I took a break from social media all month of November to be present + spend time with family, and it was such a sweet month of slowing down + being in the moment! I enjoyed EVERY minute of being OFFLINE and just LIVING. I highly suggest everyone giving it a try from time to time!

I heard these two scriptures this morning in prayer.

The Lord had shown me a couple of months ago that if the Church did not get the right perspective about this election and turn to God in the place of prayer that He would deal with us.

But last night in prayer I had seen that many in the Church had turned to the Lord in the place of prayer and have chosen to see that ONLY Jesus could save our country and no longer IDOLIZED a man.

I saw how there was a SHIFT in the Body of Christ and that God could potentially allow Trump to win.

However, I saw how God is wanting to SAVE, encounter, soften and tenderize Trump’s heart and make him filled with love and compassion, and that this time around he could lead differently if we were to PRAY. I saw God wanting to give him a revelation of His mercy. I saw that God was wanting him to lead with wisdom, strategy, love and compassion. I saw God wanting to give him wisdom on how to create PEACE and unity in our nation and come up with a compromise for certain policies.

➡️➡️➡️These are things we MUST pray for in order for them to happen.

I am praying for peace and unity in our nation and for a move of His Spirit!

I never go live but felt the Lord wanted me to! God is calling us to have our FAITH and trust in Him! When our faith is in Him, we will have the faith to PRAY and through prayer God can do ANYTHING. If we are feeling anxiety, worry, or fear about the future, it’s because our faith and hope have no longer been in God, but we have instead put them in man.

If you’re feeling these things I want to encourage you to put your faith and trust in the Lord!

Everything works out according to God’s will and He is the One that sets one up and down another.

God is calling us as believers to have the right perspective this election season. I don’t ever want to get too political, and if you know me, you know my stance, but I felt led to share this today and pray it encourages someone.

Secondly, in the mist of being surrounded by a dark Kingdom, Daniel still remained FAITHFUL to God. He put his hope, faith, and trust in the Lord and was never shaken. He remained in fasting, prayer, and consecrated unto the Lord, and God was then able to use Him to be a light in the midst of darkness. This proves that no matter what happens around us, we as believers are NEVER called to live in fear or anxiety, but are called to REMAIN faithful to the Lord!

We cannot be a light with HATE in our hearts!

My son started to get a little silly at the end but nonetheless this is our life and hearing them worship NEVER gets old! 🥹🤍They worship + pray to the Lord DAILY on their own. This is revival.

Life has been so good to us.🥹

I couldn’t write in just one paragraph all the amazing ways God has been moving in our lives lately, so I will just say thank You Lord!🤍

Our greatest desire is to raise a healthy family and to have a family that glorifies the Lord. We want to be able to pour out the love of the Father upon our babies, to demonstrate our love for Him to them, to raise them to know Him more, and to be an example of a healthy + godly marriage to them! 🤍

When Jesus is our Lord, we will be able to accurately represent Him to our Children, and we will be able to be an example to them of what it looks like to have a relationship with Father as we are led by the Holy Spirit.

When we live a life submitted to Jesus, and full of God’s Presence, everything that we do will be able to point our Children to the Father.

People always ask me how do I manage to raise my babies while getting a lot done for the Lord and my answer is: The Holy Spirit.

Without the leadership and guidance of the Holy Spirit + dependency upon the the grace of God, I am nothing! Without the Lord, I couldn’t do any of the things that I have done for His glory.

God alone is the One that gives me the grace to do the things that He has called me to do and to balance it all as I depend + trust on Him! 🤍 Depending on Him and His Presence is the only way!

If you are needing help or wisdom, I want to encourage you to do LIFE with the Holy Spirit! Ask Him for leadership and guidance. Pray and speak to Him daily. He longs to do life with you. He is your helper and comforter in your time of need! 🤍

My husband hired our baby-sitter and has picked out a beautiful restaurant for us to dine in this evening! 🤍

Thankful to be able to teach to this Women’s Ministry of 200 women in India! They are so hungry for the Lord and His Word, and it moves my heart to have the honor of getting to pour into them. God is pouring out His Spirit over them, filling them with more of Him, and using them to advance His Kingdom in their region. Thank you Jesus! 🤍

The Lord had put it on my heart to start this Christian Homeschool Group for the community and I am so grateful for how much He has been moving through it!🥹❤️

Today was Book Character Day and the kids did amazing presenting their favorite characters and all looked so adorable!

Daddy even got to take a break from work and attend.

Afterwards many of us Moms and our Spouses gathered around and talked about our hunger and thirst for the Lord’s Presence!

I am so grateful for this sweet community and what God is doing!

God has not called the Church to be confound within the four-walls, but He has called each and every one of us to GO out into the world and spread His love and light. 🤍

May God get the fullest glory from our lives. 🤍 Nothing else matters but Him! We need Him like the air that we breathe!

#HappyNationalDaughtersDay to our most amazing girl! Her personality is everything! She is so beautiful, funny, happy, cute, smart, and precious! She keeps up with her brothers and has them both wrapped around her finger! The best addition and completion to our family. We couldn’t do be more grateful for her. 🥹❤️ She lights up our entire world!

Had a great session with the @womenarecalledco membership group yesterday evening.

We started out reading from my 31 Day Devotional about casting our cares on the Lord, then we had a discussion. We ended in prayer and prophesy, and sometimes it’s so hard to depart after God’s presence comes.

It’s in those moments that I think to myself, “God, what else in this life truly matters other than You and Your Presence? Other than You and Your glory?” 😭

When I was pregnant with Zaylee and praying to the Lord He showed me I was pregnant with a baby girl. He gave me a vision of her poking out her lips like this and crossing her arms and said she’d be fiesty. She started doing it now already by herself when she gets mad. 🤣

Every time she does this face Calvin and I are amazed and reminded me of the vision.

I was trying to take a picture of her in front of the rainbow, but love that she did this face. lol. It is a symbol of the promises of God in fulfillment and I am so grateful. 🥹🩷

Do you sometimes feel the call of God is too lofty? Answering our calling and living with purpose is simply about stewarding whatever God has entrusted us with and has chosen to put right before us. It’s about serving others, doing everything unto His glory, and being a light to those He has put around us. 🤍

God has been doing something with our family lately with prayer. 🥹 My husband has been waking up early daily to pray for our family and I believe it’s been impacting our family like never before!

Our oldest has been walking around the house praying in the spirit and offering to pray for others, our middle child has been asking us for prayer and praying throughout his day, and now our 14 month old is laying hands on people and knowing what prayer is!

We’ve never “taught” her to do this, but every night she’s on my hip as we lay hands on her brothers + pray for them before bed. She’s also watched her Daddy pray for me and us pray for others! What we do in front of our children is exactly what they will learn!

This may seem “cute” to some, but to me it is the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit. The Lord has already shown me that Zaylee is going to be a power-house some day! She is going to be a leader and she is going to be fierce and mighty in the spirit! 👏🏽❤️🔥

Here she is already understanding what prayer is and laying hands on her brothers! ❤️

So thankful for last nights date-night! We have been planning date-nights once a week and they have been so needed! We cherrish every one of them and our time spent together! ❤️

The restaurant Carriqui at the Pearl was AMAZING! We highly recommend! The scene and the food was great and the weather was also perfect to sit outside. 😍

My husband and I have put the busyness of life, work, the kids, and ministry first at times, but in this season we are intentionally putting our Marriage first.

We have been planning date-nights once a week, praying together in the morning and at night, spending intentional time together, reading books on marriage and watching podcasts + sermons together, and putting our phones away when spending time together.

This is our third week of planning date-nights at unique spots around the city, and it’s been so fun + such a blessing!

Never EVER stop dating your spouse! ❤️

Intentional 1:1 time is always needed! 👏🏽

I wanted my babies to have a faith-based homeschool group for socialization with kids their age, so I thought, “Why not start one for them?!”

I met so many Moms last year and it seemed to be a need, so today was our group’s first meet-up and it was such an amazing turn out! I couldn’t be more grateful. 🥹🤎🤍🏹

Not all families were pictured as some left before the picture, but it was so amazing to see all of our little ones playing together and having fun! It was also great meeting many awesome Homeschool Moms and Parents for the first time!

We are excited for an amazing + great year of Park Days, Field Trips, Holiday Parties, Events, Sports Day, and PE Days with our Raising Arrows Homeschool Group!

Thank you to the Moms that brought cookies + helped with decorating & planning! 🤍

Today we officially started our second year of homeschooling! 🤍🎉

We prayed long and hard about whether or not we should continue homeschooling and God has continued to put it on our hearts to do so!

This year, Zerek is starting 3rd grade & Zaiden is starting Pre-K! 🥹

Zerek wants to own his own restaurant and be an Entrepreneur in NYC one day, and Zaiden wants to be a Race-Car Driver, Dirt-Bike Rider, and a Police-Man, but we convinced him to narrow it down for the picture. 🤣

We are so excited for another year and are praying God continues to give us the grace to homeschool our babies and that they have the best year ever! 🥰❤️

I am so grateful for you and adore you hun!!! 🥹 God is SO good to have brought us together. I pray our marriage can continue to grow and thrive each and every day.

11 Tips that I would give on Marriage:

1.) Keep God at the center of your Marriage. This will take away 90 percent of your problems already. Pray with one another and for one another.

2.) Be individually + personally committed to God first and then you can be collectively committed to God as a unit. Also, be willing to hold each other accountable in love when it comes to your walk with Christ.

3.) If your kids are around 24/7 like ours are, then you will more than likely argue in front of them at some point. What matters is how you communicate and how you resolve it. Our children see us apologize and forgive each other and this is what demonstrating a healthy marriage is about.

4.) Be open, vulnerable and honest about everything. Have deep conversations often!

5.) Create a safe space for your spouse that allows them to be comfortable to come to you about anything they are worried about, concerned about, or bothered about when it comes to your actions or the Marriage.

6.) When your spouse brings up something that you do that isn’t in alignment with the word of God or that hurts them or crosses their boundaries, don’t just apologize, but also do the work to actively change in that area.

7.) Submit to one another as you submit to Christ! You’re not individuals anymore. You are ONE. 🤍

8.) Be intimate always! The best thing is intimacy amongst a married couple and was God’s gift to us! Don’t ever neglect it. 💕

9.) Never use the silent treatment or emotional manipulation. Explain to your spouse what you want from them, what’s going on with you, and what you are feeling.

10.) Husbands lay your lives down for your wives as Jesus did for the Church. The Bible says to treat her as your own body and to never hurt her as you wouldn’t hurt yourself.

11.) Wives submit + trust in your husband’s leadership & always pray that God leads him, speaks to him, gives him vision, and guides him as he leads you and your family! ❤️

We are not saved by works but we are saved by grace. We are counted righteous through our FAITH in Jesus Christ, and from that faith we are given ACCESS to the grace that we are already standing in!

As we surrender to Jesus and come to Him as we are, we are transformed from glory to glory and from faith to faith as we come to know Him more. 🤍

His Love is transforming and there is NO condemnation in Christ!

When we repent for our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us. We can then follow in His footsteps and the more time we spend with Jesus the more we become like Him! ❤️

Praise God that we don’t have to come to Him perfect and that we don’t have to live for Him dependent upon our own strength + abilities. He has made a way for us to do so through His life, death, and resurrection, through the power of the Holy Spirit that is at work in us, and through depending on Him and His grace!

The BEST way to discern if the thoughts you are hearing are from the enemy or from God, is asking yourself, “Are these thoughts in alignment with what God’s word says about me or my situation?”

If they aren’t then guess what? It’s surely not God speaking, and if it’s not God speaking then you should not come into agreement with those thoughts.

Take captive every thought and submit it to Jesus by rebuking the lies of the enemy and coming into agreement with what God’s precious word says alone about you and your situation!

Jesus Himself was tempted in the wilderness by the enemy but He used the word of God to combat every lie and this is what we can do too!

“We take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:5)

Growing up I knew I knew of God, but it wasn’t until I visited my Mother in Laws Church one day after a year of her inviting me that I heard the gospel preached in a way I had never heard before. For the first time I recognized my desperate need to know the Father more and my desperate need to know this Jesus that the Man of God was speaking about. He preached the good news to me that day! He preached the gospel of Jesus Christ. He spoke about how Jesus came to die for my sins and to set me free from sin. As I sat there listening I knew in my heart how much I wanted to surrender my life and how much I needed to come to know this wonderful Jesus.

It’s only the anointing the breaks the yoke and it’s only the gospel that sets the captive free and that saves souls!

I thank God for the gospel being preached to me that day in a way that saved my life and I owe it to the Lord Jesus to share my testimony + share of His goodness ALL the days of my life!

As we surrender our lives to Jesus we are then called to be AMBASSADORS of Christ everywhere we go and are called to represent Him in the earth! We are called to share the gospel to others, to share what He has done, and to spread the good news. 🩷

I will forever share how good God has been. I will forever share the good news. 🩷

In this season I feel God strongly calling me to speak. I feel Him calling me to share what He has done in my life and to share my testimony even more and at a greater capacity.

🩷 Thankful for all that He has done! My life would look completely different if I didn’t surrender my life to Him fully on March 11th, 2012. From that day on, everything changed, and I am forever grateful!

There is NOTHING that God would call you to that He won’t also provide for you the means to get through it. He has the grace that we need for every situation and He has the grace that we need to pursue the things that He has called us to pursue.

It’s not by might, nor by power, but it’s by His SPIRIT alone that we can get through all things.

He is with us and will NEVER leave us nor forsake us. He is with us in the fire, and He is with us through it all!
 Depend on Him and cling to Him during the hardship of times and watch as God sustains you through any and everything!

You’ve got this. Nothing is impossible for those that believe! His grace is sufficient enough for you! 🤍
